AI prompt library

You are busy. Your AI is not. Hand it a ready prompt.

Replace YOUR_DOMAIN, YOUR_SITE_KEY, and YOUR_VELORA_URL with values from Velora (Settings → General for the site key).

Install — any stack

Install Velora analytics on YOUR_DOMAIN.

Snippet (do not change data attributes):
<script
  defer
  src="YOUR_VELORA_URL/tracker.js"
  data-velora-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-site-id="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-stack="unknown"
></script>

Rules:
- Load on EVERY public page.
- Prefer the global layout / head — not a single landing page.
- Show me the exact file diffs.
- After deploy, I will open YOUR_DOMAIN to verify a page_view in Velora.

Install — Next.js App Router

Add Velora to my Next.js App Router site.

In the root layout, use next/script with strategy="afterInteractive":

import Script from "next/script";

<Script
  src="YOUR_VELORA_URL/tracker.js"
  strategy="afterInteractive"
  data-velora-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-site-id="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-stack="nextjs"
/>

Requirements:
- Must cover every route.
- Do not invent the site key.
- Optionally add a same-origin proxy at /velora/tracker.js if I mention adblockers or CSP.
- Show the file you changed.

Install — Shopify

I use Velora with Shopify for YOUR_SHOP.myshopify.com.

Do NOT invent script tags. Guide me through Velora's Connect Shopify flow:
1. Create/install a custom app in Shopify Dev Dashboard with the scopes Velora needs.
2. Paste admin domain, client ID, and client secret into Velora.
3. Confirm Velora installs the storefront bootstrap and registers paid-order webhooks.
4. If reconnect is needed later, use Reconnect in Velora Settings — not a second script tag.

Then tell me how to verify: open the storefront and confirm events + a test paid order appear in Velora.

Install — WordPress

Install Velora on my WordPress site YOUR_DOMAIN.

Paste this in the global <head> (Header Footer plugin, theme options, or header.php — pick the durable option):

<script
  defer
  src="YOUR_VELORA_URL/tracker.js"
  data-velora-key="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-site-id="YOUR_SITE_KEY"
  data-velora-stack="wordpress"
></script>

Then purge all caches (plugin + CDN) and tell me how to verify a page_view in Velora.

Stripe attribution

Wire Stripe Checkout / PaymentIntents so Velora can attribute revenue.

When creating Checkout Sessions or PaymentIntents, set metadata:
- velora_site_id: YOUR_SITE_KEY
- velora_visitor_id: from cookie velora_visitor_id
- velora_session_id: from cookie velora_session_id

Also put the same metadata on payment_intent_data.metadata for Checkout Sessions.

Use my existing Stripe server code. Show the diff. Do not rotate keys.

Identify logged-in customers

After a user logs in on YOUR_DOMAIN, call:

window.velora("identify", {
  user_id: "<stable user id>",
  name: "<display name>",
  email: "<email if available>"
});

Find the right place in my auth success path. Guard with typeof window !== "undefined" and wait until the Velora script has loaded. Show the diff.

Debug: no events

Velora is not receiving events for YOUR_DOMAIN (site key YOUR_SITE_KEY).

Check:
1. Is tracker.js present in the live HTML on a public page?
2. Are data-velora-key / data-velora-site-id exactly YOUR_SITE_KEY?
3. Any CSP / adblocker / privacy extension blocking YOUR_VELORA_URL?
4. Is the primary domain in Velora Settings matching the host I visit?
5. Did I purge CDN cache after install?

Propose the smallest fix. Prefer a same-origin proxy if third-party scripts are blocked.

Analyze with MCP (Claude / Cursor)

You have the Velora MCP server connected.

1. Call list_sites, then get_site_context for my store.
2. get_overview for range today and last_7d.
3. get_traffic_sources and get_pages for last_7d.
4. get_funnel for last_7d.
5. Tell me in plain English: is this week good, what is leaking, and what I should do Monday morning.

Keep it short. Numbers first. No GA4 lecture.

Weekly owner brief

Using Velora MCP (or screenshots I paste):

Write a 8-bullet Monday brief for my ecom store:
- Revenue vs last week
- Orders + AOV
- Top 3 sources
- Top 3 pages by intent (product/cart/checkout), not vanity
- Biggest drop-off in the funnel
- One weird visitor journey worth looking at
- One action for today
- One thing to ignore

Tone: sharp operator, not analyst cosplay.
